Samsung set to copy Apple’s fingerprint scanner
SAMSUNG is reportedly set to copy Apple in featuring a fingerprint scanner in its upcoming Galaxy S5.
But, according to industry news site Sam Mobile, Samsung’s
fingerprint scanner will let you assign each of your fingerprints to
trigger different tasks and shortcuts on the phone.
There have
been rumours for a few weeks that Samsung would follow the Apple iPhone
5S in implementing fingerprint scanning into its new flagship smartphone
but the Sam Mobile site claims it can “confirm” the rumour.
